Through this module, students will be encouraged to consider health as an object that enables them to grasp major societal issues (medicalization, democratization, circulation of practices and knowledge, etc.) via a plural and transdisciplinary approach to public health issues. The module will provide an introduction to ethnographic observation and writing, as well as a grounding in the main objects and approaches in health anthropology, the specific features of the ethnographic method, identifying the socio-cultural dimensions of public health issues and understanding the specific features of the ethnographic method.
