The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to the methodology of medico-economic evaluation, based on concrete examples, and an overview of the concepts, issues and limits of modeling in medico-economic evaluation, methods for measuring costs, methods for calculating effectiveness, the stages of Markov modeling and approaches that complement traditional cost-effectiveness analysis (WELLBYs, capabilities, extended analysis).

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in economics and social sciences or medical training ;
