The aim of the module is to master the main advanced statistical methods and models for analyzing survival data. By taking part in this module, students will become familiar with the main statistical methods and models for analyzing complex survival data (single event, concurrent, etc.) or with complex effects (non-proportional, non-linear, etc.). They will be able to perform and interpret survival analysis using advanced models.

Program

  • Extension of the Cox model (time-dependent variables, non-linear effects) ;
  • Modeling competitive risks, recurrent events;
  • Analysis of net survival, regression model of excess mortality rate.

Prerequisites

  • Knowledge of the theoretical and applied bases of survival analysis and regression analysis;
  • Know how to perform and interpret a classical survival analysis and a regression analysis with R.
