ISSPAM is pleased to invite you to its new Journée Actions en Santé Publique - JASP on massive data and open sciences on June 28, 2024 at the Université du Temps Libre in Marseille. On this occasion, speakers from the Institute as well as external speakers will be presenting their work and sharing it with you during a lively exchange of ideas!

The aim is to explore the main possibilities for (re)using massive data and open data in public health and the human and social sciences.
The first part will be devoted to an introduction to the fundamentals of data warehousing, and the notions of open and closed data, highlighting their growing importance in Research projects.
Practical case studies will illustrate how these different sources and types of data can transform research and decision-making in public health and/or the advancement of knowledge in our disciplines.
The aim of the day is not only to provide an overview of current possibilities, but also to stimulate collaborative thinking on future challenges and opportunities in this field.

The day will consist of 3 sessions, with presentations by each speaker followed by a collective discussion with the audience.

  • Session 1: Medico-administrative data
  • Session 2: Social network and web data
  • Session 3: Use and repository of open data in public health sciences
