Scientific event

Context

ISSPAM aims to synergize and leverage existing strengths in public health on the Aix-Marseille site. Its Research and Training missions are marked by a commitment to two main themes: social and territorial inequalities in health, and methods in public health sciences. ISSPAM's three priority areas of activity are: (i) characterization of population health and sources of vulnerability, (ii) interactions between the healthcare system and populations, and (iii) health mediation actions and practices.

Through its two themes and three priority areas, ISSPAM aims to (i) develop structuring projects acting as project incubators, (ii) disseminate knowledge with spin-offs for decision-making in public health, (iii) federate MSEC players in public health at regional and national level in a research-action/training dynamic, and (iv) assert its thematic specificities at national and international level.

AAP Organization of scientific events and scientific culture

As part of its mission to disseminate and transfer knowledge and skills in Public Health Sciences within the scientific community and to the general public, ISSPAM offers to co-finance the organization of scientific events and scientific culture (symposia, thematic schools, debates, actions aimed at patient associations, the socio-cultural world or the general public, etc.) focusing on ISSPAM's themes and areas of work.

The aim of this call for projects is to have a structuring effect on the site, and to develop its visibility and attractiveness.

Two sessions are organized during the year. By way of indication, the maximum amount awarded by ISSPAM is €1,500.
