What kinds of intelligence for public health?
As part of its summer school, ISSPAM is organizing a symposium entitled "What kinds of intelligence for Public Health"to be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 in Marseille.
Exceptionally this year, the symposium has been moved to the month of July, in order to be fully integrated into the training day program of the ADELF-EPITER International French-speaking Epidemiology and Public Health Congress, which takes place from July 21 to 24, 2026 in Marseille.
This link-up with the ADELF-EPITER congress will reinforce scientific exchanges and promote synergies between symposium and congress participants, as well as between public health players in general.
Objective and concept
The state of health of populations, the study of their determinants and their health needs are mobilizing and questioning to face the many current challenges and public health issues. The aim of the "What kinds of intelligence for Public Health" symposium is to shed collective light on a range of public health issues, using a 360-degree viewpoint based on complementary angles of analysis.
This symposium mobilizes 4 speakers around 4 themes, proposed by each of the 4 speakers. In 18 minutes, each speaker presents a theme and submits it to the reflection, analysis and vision of the other 3 speakers, each of whom has 360 seconds to do so. This round table is completed by debates between the speakers and with the participants to generate collective intelligence and gain this 360-degree vision.
