The aim of this module is to teach how to set up an epidemiological cohort using SNDS data: from design to preparation of data for analysis. This module is co-organized by ISSPAM and the BordeauxInstitute of Public Health, Epidemiology and Development (ISPED).
Program
- Documentation on the SNDS ;
- SNDS data architecture (tables, fields, variables relevant to epidemiology);
- SNDS data cleansing filters;
- Identification of subjects and their socio-demographic characteristics in the SNDS;
- Identification of a disease based on an "algorithm" in the SNDS;
- Identification of an exposure (drug, medical device, medical procedure, etc.) in the SNDS;
- Identification of causes of death in the SNDS;
- Construction of a cohort from different SNDS data environments.
