Summer school ISSPAM 2025

Program

The symposium is in French, with a live English translation for international exposure. The ISSPAM summer school offers an à la carte program, including a symposium with internationally renowned speakers, 13 modules and a joint webinar.

Registration for a module entitles you to free admission to the symposium “Quelles intelligences pour la santé publique?” featuring internationally renowned speakers.

Modules

The list of 13 modules can be found at the bottom of the page.

Modules are organized in different formats:

• Face-to-face only: at the Faculty of Medical and Paramedical Sciences at La Timone in Marseille;
• Live online only;
• Hybrid (face-to-face and live online);

Remarks: 

• Please check the language of the module;
• The RUSÉ module, which is a face-to-face session only, takes place on the ISPED site in Bordeaux (registration via the ISPED website);
• Registration for the joint webinar is via the ISPED website.

Joint ISSPAM / ISPED Webinar in French: Perspectives offertes par la réutilisation de données de santé 

As part of their respective international summer schools, ISSPAM - Institut des Sciences de la Santé Publique d'Aix-Marseille Université and ISPED - Institut de Santé Publique, d'Epidémiologie et de Développement de l'Université de Bordeaux, are organising a joint webinar.

The aim is to raise participants' awareness of the prospects offered by the re-use of health data, from health data warehouses or medico-administrative databases, for public health and health research, by presenting the results of work or work in progress.

The joint webinar will take place on June 11th, 2025 from 05:30pm to 07:00pm live online.

• « PharmIAge : réutilisation de données hospitalière pour l’aide à validation pharmaceutique par la détection avancée des erreurs de prescription chez la personne âgée » by Jean-Charles Dufour (SESSTIM, ISSPAM) ;
• « Utilisation des transformers dans le SNDS : un cas d’usage du projet pilote de l’Espace Européen des Données de Santé » by Gayo Diallo (ISPED, BPH / U1219).

Who can attend? 

The summer school is open to students (Masters, PhD), post-docs, academics, healthcare professionals, patients, civil society and citizens wishing to acquire a grounding or improve their skills in the field of public health sciences.

Registration opens: January 29, 2025

Closing date for registrations: April 20, 2025 without extension

Registration consists of a registration form and payment:

Registration is only validated once the registration form has been sent and payment has been made. You will receive confirmation by e-mail.

The opening of a module depends on the number of registrations. If a module is cancelled, participants will be reimbursed. No other reimbursement will be considered.
